We are looking for a dedicated Independent Travel Agent to join our family-owned travel agency. Our agency is deeply committed to delivering exceptionally personalized and detailed travel services for a diverse array of vacations. As an agent with our team, you will collaborate with a wide range of vendors to meticulously plan various types of vacations, including theme park adventures, honeymoon escapes, destination weddings, bachelorette parties, luxurious cruises, and all-inclusive resort stays. Your primary aim will be to ensure every vacation is as stress-free and enjoyable as possible for our clients.

We need someone who is committed to exceptional customer service, possesses great communication and organizational skills, and is comfortable engaging with clients. Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough research on destinations, focusing on factors such as costs, cultural practices, climate, and client reviews to ensure the best travel advice.
• Evaluate clients’ travel needs and preferences to suggest the most suitable travel packages or tailor services to their individual desires.
• Handle the complete travel booking process from start to finish, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for each client.
• Provide up-to-date travel information and materials to assist clients in making informed travel decisions.
• Manage financial aspects, including collecting deposits and processing payments for bookings.
• Utilize promotional techniques and create marketing materials to increase sales of our unique travel itineraries.
• Resolve any issues during the travel process, determining eligibility for refunds or credits when needed.
• Build lasting relationships with clients to foster repeat business and referrals.
• Seek support and guidance from our family team when needed to enhance client satisfaction.
• Skillfully manage crisis situations, ensuring client safety and maintaining our reputation for trusted travel planning.

Qualifications:

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Reliable internet connection and proficiency with computers or smartphones.
• Willingness to participate in both live and recorded training sessions and meetings.
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude, eager to learn, adapt, and work independently within our supportive family framework.
• Able to work hard as a team player to continue our culture

Good to Have:

• Comprehensive understanding of various travel sectors including domestic, international, business, and leisure travel.
• Experience booking travel: flights, cruises, resorts, etc.
• Experience researching and getting quotes together for clients to compare
