Job Description
OVERALL OBJECTIVE AND PURPOSE
Under the direction of the Marketing Supervisor, the Training Coordinator will ensure the smooth and effective functioning of training events geared towards retailers and key accounts which sell NLCB’s products; as well support the functions and activities of the Marketing Department.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, develop, plan, lead and implement the agreed training modules and curriculum
- Coordinates, schedules and conducts weekly Retailer/NLCB training
- Coordinate in-house staff training
- Maintain a trainee database which must be updated weekly
- Continuously evaluate and make recommendations on training material and methodology and keep current on training design and methodology
- Develop training aids such as manuals and handbooks
- Facilitate learning through a variety of delivery methods including on the field training
- With the help of the Marketing and Retail team, market available training opportunities
- Develop, assess and summarize evaluation reports determining the impact of training
- Maintain updated curriculum database and training records
- Facilitate training at Agents’ outlets to agents to upsell the Instant and Social Space brands
- Provide train-the-trainer sessions for internal staff, coordinate with Marketing Manager and P&T Regional Snr Manager
- Handle logistics for training activities including venues and equipment
- Lead and maintain in-house training facilities and equipment
- Handle the preparation, distribution and renewal of NLCB Agent and Operator certification
- Work with suppliers to source quotations and place orders for relevant supplies, meals, accommodation and any other requirements vital
REQUIREMENTS
ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
- Minimum qualifications:
- At least three years sales and training experience in an environment or a related field
