In-Home RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) – Laurel, MD 20707

Part-Time | Home-Based ABA | $18.00–$26.00 per hour

Autism Center of Excellence (AutismCOE) is hiring a dependable and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or Behavior Technician (BT) to provide in-home ABA therapy for a child in the Laurel, MD 20707 area. This position offers consistent weekday afternoon and early-evening hours and is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently while making an impact in a child’s daily environment.

You will help children build communication, social, and independence skills through structured, evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy.

Position Details

  • Service Area: Laurel, MD (20707 – in-home)
  • Setting: In-home only
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 4:00 PM–8:00 PM
  • Hours: Part-time (under 30 hours/week)
  • Reports To: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Pay Range:
  • BT (non-certified): $18–$21/hr
  • RBT (certified): $21–$26/hr

What You’ll Do

  • Provide one-on-one ABA therapy inside the client’s home
  • Implement individualized treatment and behavior plans under BCBA supervision
  • Record accurate session data using digital tools
  • Support the development of communication, social, and daily living skills
  • Maintain professionalism with families and communicate effectively with your BCBA supervisor

QualificationsRequired

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Reliable transportation to the Laurel 20707 service area
  • Willingness to work exclusively in-home
  • Ability to complete training and pass all required background checks

Preferred

  • Active RBT certification
  • Experience supporting children with autism
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
