Start Your Career Journey with Scania USA

Are you a recent graduate eager to kick-start your career in a global, innovative, and sustainable company? Scania USA is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic graduate with a degree in Engineering or Business to begin their career in a techno-commercial role as Sales Representative – Industrial Engines in North America. This role is designed for early-career professionals who want to learn, grow, and make an impact in the industrial engine industry.

At Scania, we provide reliable power solutions for construction, agriculture, power generation, and material handling. With training, mentorship, and real-world experience, you’ll have the chance to develop your expertise while building relationships with distributors, OEMs, and industry leaders across the U.S. and Canada.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Drive sales of industrial engines through our distributor network across the U.S. and Canada, with guidance from senior team members.
  • Take ownership of selected customer accounts, ensuring they receive excellent service and follow-up.
  • Support the development of new business opportunities with OEMs and key customers in industries such as construction, agriculture, and power generation.
  • Prepare and deliver customer presentations, proposals, and responses to RFPs/RFQs.
  • Contribute to pricing discussions, forecasts, and product planning activities.
  • Gather and analyze market, product, and customer insights, and share recommendations with the team.
  • Provide product and sales training to distributors in coordination with senior colleagues.
  • Represent Scania at trade shows, industry events, and distributor meetings, acting as an ambassador for our brand and solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (technical, aftermarket, product, finance) to support customer solutions and ensure alignment.

What We’re Looking For

Education & Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • No prior experience is required — however, internships, projects, or previous exposure to engines, machinery, or sales will be considered a plus.

Skills & Attributes

  • Strong commercial mindset.
  • Curious, eager to learn, and motivated to grow in a technical/commercial role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Team-oriented, adaptable, and willing to take initiative.
  • Comfortable working with both technical details and customer interactions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); CRM knowledge is a plus.
  • Service-minded, with focus on customer satisfaction.

Why Join Scania?

At Scania, you’ll find more than just a job — you’ll start a career in a company with global reach and strong values: customer first, respect for the individual, elimination of waste, team spirit, and integrity.

If these values resonate with you, you’ll feel right at home here.
