Expert knowledge of Wildland Fire Decision Support System (WFDSS).Experience required with Windows, MS Word, Power PointWildland Fire Decision Support System (WFDSS)Duties:Serves as cadre member supporting the Interagency Wildland Fire Air Quality Response Program training for new Air Resource Advisors.Smoke/Air Quality Training: Develops and delivers course content for new Air Resource Advisors (ARAs), with a focus on fuels and fire behavior and their role in smoke emissions and production and interactions with Incident Management Teams from an ARA perspective. Provides mentorship and support to new students prior to and during the training with regards to the Wildland Fire Decision Support System (WFDSS).100%Other:Travel Requirements: Individual will need to attend a 5-day training course in Boise, ID with travel on the Sunday before and Saturday after.Overnight travel: 1 time for 6 nights (Sun-Friday)Physical requirements: Sedentary position where work occurs in front of a computer and in a classroom setting.
