Job Description

We are seeking a talented technical designer, preferably with hands-on building experience, to join our team. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of work experience in event, exhibition, furniture, and retail design. Must be detail-oriented, self-directed, and able to solve problems efficiently.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop 3D models in CAD for a wide variety of projects, both large and small. 

• Produce descriptive and clear shop drawings, install directives, client design proposals, and renderings. 

• Collaborate with the production team to integrate client feedback while ensuring feasibility for production. 

• Prepare files for vendors, including image files for printing, and CAD files for CNC machines. 

• Program parts and cut lists for CNC milling, laser cutting, 3D printing, and other automated equipment. 

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in industrial design, architecture, or a related field. 

• Over 3 years of professional work experience. 
• Knowledge of and interest in art, fashion, design, and architecture. 
• Expert level proficiency in Rhino and Grasshopper. 
• High-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Office 365, and Windows. 
• Experience in CNC programming (Fusion 360 is a plus). 
• Highly organized, detail oriented, and able to multi-task. 
• Understanding of fabrication techniques and the ability to translate them into technical drawings. 
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 
• Ability to work effectively and collaboratively across multiple teams and departments.

• Salary Range: $75,000 - $90,000 (Dependent on experience)
